I stuck with my word, and now I have an educational video uploaded. This vid is essentially everything of interest that has happened in the 4.5 billion years of Earth's existence that I could fit into a 4 minute, 30-second video. The historical events are as follows: -Creation of the universe. -Creation of the Milky Way. -Creation of the Earth. -Earth becomes a volcanic world. -Earth experiences liquid water, electrical storms. -Life is born. -Microbes spread. -Complex life begins. -Terrestrial life begins. -Dinosaurs rule the planet. -Dinosaurs go extinct. -Life struggles in post-meteor Earth. -Apes show signs of intelligence. -Human evolution begins. -Human sentience is born. -Last ice age begins. -Human society begins. -Catal Huyuk is founded. -Rise of the Egyptian empire. -Babylonian code of laws is created. -Buddism gains popularity in the East. -Ancient Greece thrives; Roman empire is founded soon after. -Christianity is founded. -Islam is founded. -Attila the Hun attacks Rome, signifying the massive barbarian uprisings that would ultimately spell the end for the western empire. -The crusades start. -English conflict with Scotland is at its peak. -The Renassance begins. -Columbus 'discovers' the new world. -Rise of the Japanese samurai. -Colonialism is at its peak. -American Declaration of Independance is signed. -American, French, and Industrial revolutions begin; the United States of America is founded. -Western expansion begins. -The British empire expands ...
